And thats a wrap! Bell Sound had our final ADR session for the Crackle TV show Snatch this weekend, and we couldn’t be more excited for the premiere. Thanks to Phoebe Dynevor (pictured), Courtney Yago (pictured), Rupert Grint, Lucien Laviscount, Luke Pasqualino, and Dougray Scott for making these sessions a pleasure to work on. Tune into Crackle on March 16th to catch the first episode!
“America 101” – the award-winning short film by Richard Speight Jr. – is now available on iTunes! It stars Rick Gomez, has an original score by Grammy-nominated composer Austin Wintory, and all ADR was recorded by Marilyn Morris at Bell Sound Studios.
Our Supernatural friends Richard Speight Jr. and Rob Benedict sent us this hilarious sneak peek of their new web series Kings of Con. Richard and Rob play caricatures of themselves as they travel the convention circuit, and Supernatural fans will love the cameos from other cast members!
Marilyn recorded ADR with Rich and Rob for the pilot, and two of our lines made it into the trailer! Here’s a hearing test for you… Can you guess which lines?
Rich and Rob launched an Indiegogo campaign to produce the series. Kings of Con easily surpassed the original goal of $100,000 in just over a week, ensuring that at least three episodes will be released. If they manage to raise $300,000 by May 10th they’ll be able to produce a full season, so please check out the campaign and donate!
Bell Sound worked on great ADR session today for The CW show Beauty and The Beast. Annie Ilonzeh recorded lines for her character Beth, a journalist who is new to Season 2. Blair Redford recorded for the beastly Zach, who is also new to this season, and our lucky Barbara Cochetas got to snap this cute photo after his session.
Maggie Siff and Rose Troche were at Bell Sound today! Maggie Siff was recording ADR for the upcoming movie Concussion with Alfredo in Studio B. Concussion is produced by Rose Troche, and you can check it out at Sundance in 2013.
Conor Allyn from Margate House Films was back at Bell Sound this evening. He and his brother met with Keefe and his sound operator, Justin, to prepare for another ADR session for the movie Java Heat. Mickey Rourke was the talent, and everyone traveled to his home for an on-location ADR session.
A very fun last-minute booking came into Bell Sound today. We got a call do to a Source-Connect session, knowing only that the director and producer would be here at 3pm and the talent would be in New York.
Turns out that Shia LaBeouf was the director, and Jim Gaffigan was the talent in New York! LaBeouf is submitting a short movie starring Gaffigan to Cannes Film Festival, and they needed to record some wild lines, voice-over, and ADR. It was so much fun to be part of that stellar collaboration!
This session also gave us a chance to heavily test our new upgrade to Source-Connect 3.6 in Studio D. It worked fantastically!
Bell Sound had a long ADR recording session today with Vijessna Ferkic, who plays Louise in the German movie Das Haus Der Krokodile (House of the Crocodiles) from Constantin Film and Rat Pack Filmproduktion. Vijessna was fantastic, extremely good at matching her previous takes, and what a trooper! This picture was taken at the end of the day in Studio A.
